Tactical Pistol
This COI covers the role of the pistol as both a primary and secondary firearm. The emphasis is on developing tactical shooting skills that can be tested under real conditions during field tactical exercises. This COI is designed for the tactical law enforcement operator and concentrates on close quarters battle training:

This COI stresses the versatility of the semi-automatic rifle in short and mid range applications. Realistic range and time problems encountered by law enforcement personnel in urban and rural environments will be stressed.

Precision Rifle For Law Enforcement
This COI is for the law enforcement sniper. (MILITARY SNIPER AND COUNTER SNIPER COURSES ARE AVAILABLE WITH PROPER APPROVAL) The COI stresses ranges 300 yards and under. The tactical team needs to have this option available when all other means of negotiation have failed. It is the responsibility of this operator to act and react in an objective professional manner under maximum pressure. This COI touches on all aspects of being the marksman within the tactical team and emphasizes skills necessary in addition to accuracy.

Explosive and Mechanical Breaching
This dynamic, accelerated course is designed to impart the principles of explosive entry, teach and refine mechanical entry techniques and teach proven, realistic explosive entry techniques used in support of room combat operations.

Explosives Disposal
The goal of this 3-day course of instruction is you will be able to: identify common forms and types of explosives (military, improvised, and commercial), render such explosives safe for transportation, destroy such explosives using the safest method available, and be able to properly document and record the destruction. This is a must for any EOD personnel.

Tactical Team Training
This COI emphasizes working in a team environment. The class covers all aspects of tactical training culled from the latest techniques which have been validated in combat. The final field training exercises will utilize distraction devices and Simunitions.

This COI focuses on preparing the team to fulfill the duties of a personal protection specialist as a member of a dignitary/witness protection detail.

SCARS Combat Fighting Course
This COI is designed to meet the challenges of the low intensity conflict environment faced by our combat troops. The Special Combat Aggressive Reactionary System (SCARS) trains the offensive mindset to the combat soldier and how to use the human body’s natural defense system to destroy his enemy. This is the most efficient and effective hand to hand / hand to weapon system available to the combat soldier.

PACT Law Enforcement Training
Positive Assertive Control Tactics (PACT) is the next generation in what most people call defensive tactics. This training helps reduce liability by properly training the law enforcement officer to employ a system of control tactics designed to handle the range of challenges from the compliant protester to the violent criminal resisting arrest with lethal force. The PACT principles seamlessly apply to these different threat levels and give the officer consistent, effective control options which work well within the force continuum’s of most law enforcement agencies.

Developing Human Intelligence Assets
This course is designed to teach the operator how to develop a human intelligence network in support of the unit’s mission. The course is based on proven collection techniques designed to produce preventative intelligence, precursors to a criminal or terrorist act. Only qualified law enforcement or military personnel will be accepted for this class. The topics covered are not listed in this brochure. Qualified personnel may request information on this program via a written request on unit letterhead.
Water Trade-craft Courses of Instruction
Harbor Command Center Development
This is a centralized command center trained in the specific tasks of interfacing logistics, equipment, civilian and military movement within the Harbor(s) coastal tributaries and open water (international waterways).
Education and training is provided in, but not limited to:

-Emergency protocols for civilian support of medical supply movement or hospital vessels
-Civilian evacuation management protocols
-Movement management of support equipment for law enforcement
-Security management control for storage of supplies and equipment
-Security management for water tributaries
-Oversight Management Team Training for Harbor Patrol Units for safe navigational waterways within the limits of said Harbor Command legal jurisdictions.
Note
The following generalized training COI’s cover defensive/offensive vessels under 150 ft. The COI’s are broken down into three vessel categories, followed by more subject matter specific information. Please keep in mind that while each of the three vessels categories have mission specific training. One must also consider the cohesiveness of the complete security forces that will be tasked coastal security. Therefore, we have provided COI’s for such cohesiveness training titled, “COASTAL READINESS TRAINING.”
